ICA Experiment Recap

The day after the NEU Springfest I painted at the ICA Experiment night with Kenji and Fish.

We painted throughout the night while DJs spun on the first floor.

Then the following afternoon I sat on a panel for a discussion about my work and my relationship to 'street art' etc. This was part of a days worth of programs revolving around Shepard Faireys continuing show at the ICA.

The panel was interesting...you can catch a clip of me and Kenji blathering away below...

Good to be busy i guess.

Spring Fest

Last Thursday, Project SF did a mural for Northeastern Universities annual Spring Fest. This was our third year doing the event and i think this year was my favorite so far.

ICA Experiment

A little heads up about an appearance I'm making at the ICA in a couple weeks.

I'll be participating in a live painting event Friday night April 3rd at the ICA Experiment night along with a few fellow members of Project SF. I'll also be speaking on a panel the next day, Saturday April 4th, regarding how street art...in particular Shepard Faireys work... has affected my personal work and goals.

More info here... and here...

Should be an interesting couple days so if your around town come by and check it out.

Coraline Dunks

Sooo ...got another package the other day.

A limited number of Nike Dunks were created to celebrate Laika’s first full-length animated film, Coraline. Designed in part by my pal Rob Heppler at WK ...they have a heavy canvas upper with hand stitched details, a leather toe and collar, satin lining and a glow in the dark sole. These are special edition 1/100 that includes the large button. Definitely a creative kick!

Apparently there are more of these that can be won by watching the movie when it comes out on Feb 6th but they will not be for sale.

Thanks Rob!
